COSMOTE Romania launches a new advertising campaign within the Time to listen platform
COSMOTE Romania launched a new declination of the "Time to listen" communication platform, stressing the importance of having the beloved ones close, even when being away. The mobile telephony allows us to do so by bringing together two persons via the magic of technology. What could be more important than your beloved’s voice to hear?
The new TV spot "the Elf" comes in line with this credo, stressing the advantages of the company’s voice and data post-paid bundles and highlighting a child’s preoccupation to hang up not because she would burn minutes, but simply because she is anxious to hear her daddy, who might call momentarily.
"Without feelings and the possibility to share them, the mobile telephony is merely an exercise of technology and engineering ability. With this spot, we decided to continue in the spirit of the Butterfly concept and call for the affective side of each mobile telephony user, to reveal to them that no matter how much they’d need to talk, we can provide the needed service. COSMOTE thus puts an emotional touch to the message to all the consumers", Dana Bursuc, Marketing Communications Senior Manager, COSMOTE Romania said.
Both the ‘Butterfly’ and ‘Mother&Son’ TV spots moved the audience and triggered many positive reactions in social media, so continuing in the same spirit of "Time to listen" came naturally. COSMOTE Romania concretely proposes bundles of voice offering the time necessary to listen and talk without rush.
‘The Elf’ TV spot promotes the XL voice tariff plan which, for only 18,60 euro per month (VAT included) offers 250 national and international minutes, plus 2000 on-net minutes, 2000 on-net sms’es, 150 on-net MMS’es , 1500 on-net video call minutes, 2000 minutes towards Romtelecom fixed numbers as well as 150 MB data traffic.
The campaign was developed by Papaya Advertising, which cooperates with Ogilvy Romania for COSMOTE campaigns on postpaid and corporate portfolio.
The team that coordinated the making of the new advertising campaign on behalf of COSMOTE Romania is formed of: Dana Bursuc – Senior Marketing & Communication Manager, Valentin Stoenescu – Head of Postpaid & Corporate Marketing Communication, Diana Grosu – Junior Brand Manager.
The Papaya Advertising team that contributed to this campaign consisted of Robert Tiderle – Creative Director, Andrada Sas – Copywriter, Rares Dumitrel - Art Director and Ramona Sima – Client Service Director. The production team was: Family Film – production house, Razvan Marculescu – director, and Marius Panduru – DOP.
