Amazon has appointed Jennifer Salke the new head of its Studios production unit, TechCrunch reported. Salke will succeed Roy Price, who resigned in October following allegations of sexual harassment in a news report, according Telecompaper. Salke will join Amazon Studios from NBC, where she was Entertainment president for the past sic years. 
In her new role, Salke will report to Amazon SVP Jeff Blackburn. She will be tasked with overseeing both scripted series and film projects for Amazon.
