Intracom Telecom was contracted to provide security research services on land borders to KEMEA, the Center for Security Studies in Greece, for its participation in EWISA (Early Warning For Increased Situational Awareness), according Telecompaper. EWISA is an EU co-funded project which is part of the Security Research Theme of the 7th R&D Framework Programme. The completion of the project is anticipated by end of May 2019. The platform will be implemented, tested and evaluated in Greece, Finland, Romania and Spain, which are the four areas of the project.
Intracom Telecom undertook the provisioning of a new platform to improve the quality and efficiency of services in relation to security issues on topics of common European interest. The project will assess the technological platform and its flexibility to integrate capabilities into the current surveillance infrastructure in order to increase intelligence in video surveillance.
